Training and testing is conducted to NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standards.

For personnel who are responsible for signalling the direction and movement of vehicles in the workplace Pro Logistics Training offer a 1 day vehicle banksman course covering the following.

• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Relevant legislation PUWER 1998
• Safety Signs and Signal Regulations 1996
• Risk Assessment
• Hazard Identification
• Operator’s safety code
• Practical Vehicle Movement
• Assessment and Testing

At the conclusion of the programme, or after remedial tuition for the experienced, each candidate will undertake a test of operating ability, to a level pre-set by the relevant accrediting body.

At the conclusion of the course a training report and certificate of training is issued for each successful candidate.

All successful candidates can apply (via the training provider) for inclusion on the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme. They will then be issued with a card bearing their photograph and a list of the types of plant they are trained and tested to operate.
